This standard applies to gates, barriers, and industrial, commercial and garage doors to be installed in areas accessible to people and whose main use is to allow safe access to goods and vehicles accompanied or driven by people in industrial, commercial or residential complexes.
Gate construction entails a first structural and mechanical design that considers the use and safety needs of the context where it is to be installed.
Internal production control ensures the traceability of materials and components. A declaration of performance and an operation and maintenance manual are issued for gates subject to EC marking.
